For 33 years this is the club to play in Nashville if you play Bluegrass music. One of the most friendly and hospitable places you will ever visit, as a patron or as a performer. Located at 402 12th Ave. South they feature music seven nights a week and have been doing it since 1974 with a passion. The best Bluegrass pickers from around the world have played this room and on any given night you might see any of them there, just enjoying the music, or getting up and jamming with whoever is playing that night. You name the Bluegrass performer, and you can bet they have played The Station Inn when they were in Nashville.

They have a cover charge Monday through Saturday and the doors open at 7:00pm every night with the music starting at 9:00pm. On Sunday nights they have an open Bluegrass Jam night where you can get up and pick. To give you an example of who might be at one of their Sunday night Jams, I went one Sunday night 20 years ago and ended up picking with Bela Fleck, the 5 string Banjo wizard, and The Osborne Brothers. Now that is a Jam! If you are coming to Nashville and you enjoy listening to, or playing Bluegrass music, you have to make it a point to visit The Station Inn.
